playing in the mud w soupy on first field hunt

well im downstate doing my best to deny winter.

hooked up w SOUPIE who was kind enuf to invite me on 1 of his sites.

he has put big effort on this, tansposing old maps. he found out where old homesites used to be.

by doing this. just an empty field now. nothing left of the home except for whas underground.

them beauty old coins and relics.

he can even tell exactly where the driveway and bushes used to be WHOA!

yesterday we hit an old house site and got mostly coppa relics single coin was a 53 wheat.

today we went to a slightly differnt area soupie scored early with a 1866 2 center and a wheat.

wow i was excited to see it get found. now im very anxious to see if i can find an oldie.

i danced w joy to find a 1846 large cent right near the field edge and our cars.

near quitting got a coppa ring n a last wheat.

this was my first true field hunt. i have hunted many woods and parks .but this farmfield first time.

wow how exciting.

and both host and visitor scored oldies. YEAH
