    barbershop music from mid fall

well its about time i refound my finds.

im always busy hunting and often i am running around like

crazy. showing my finds to different people.

    more hunting.phone calls.it becomes a blurr.

so no wonder i often cant find the finds i just found.

i also got a supposedly better camera about then.

    back in early november.

so here i finally found these finds from back then

this camera has 12 mp vs 3.1 for the oldie.

and a macro feature. my fist hi res attempt.

and she jumps pretty bad in 12m.

    anyway.

posted the first barber was 'scared up at halloween'

found the 3 others in the next 2 hunts.

very happy especially after the dime slam in late oct

    i think.

anyway these were found in a fairly small area

of a big park. but on seperate hunts.

I CALL THEM MY BARBERSHOP QUARTET.

Re: barbershop music from mid fall

I posted some camera tips in your Best Coin of the Year post.

For posting photos on the web, the higher megapixel cameras are not going to be an advantage.
Most web browsers and monitors are only going to display 72 to 96 dots per inch.
Higher megapixels are great when you intend to print a high resolution photo, or need to clearly zoom in on small details.

All of the coin photos I have posted on here and on my facebook site
http://www.facebook.com/update_secur...&id=1407375054 (Click any of them and they enlarge)
were taken at 640 x 480 on a 1.2 megapixel camera. They were then further reduced in pixel size to save for the web, in Adobe Photoshop.

    I'm not saying I take GREAT photos - I don't - they're just OK to good.
I'm just trying to point out that it's issues OTHER than megapixels that make photos on the web look good.

Lighting, focus, background color or contrast, etc.

Have a great year of finds in 2011!
