GPS on your Droid or IPhone Don't post a picture at your favorite spot.

I just heard this today. If your phone has GPS Like an IPhone or Droid and you take a picture, all anyone
has to do is right click on that picture and the longitude and latitude will be there and everyone will be able to be read it and Bingo no secret spot anymore....

I'm not now...

Anyone else hear this?

Yeah I've known about that so I leave the "store location" setting off. I don't know if the location transfers with the file though if you send it out of the phone... I guess it could be stored in the meta data of the file.

I believe it's called xf (Ex if) data. If you use mozilla Firefox you can view the xf data of any picture file. It's usually camera settings data but some cameras use gps (as an optional accessory) and it will save that info to. Be careful.
