    First time out this year!!

Hi everyone. I finally was able to get out to a small local park and tot lot that I've had my eye on since late last year. This particular park dates to about 1915. Hunted for about 3 1/2 hours this afternoon. Finds included a kids earring (I don't think it's silver as it has some small spots on it that may be rust), plus sized Ford Sport Track, Caddy hood ornament (now if I could just have the actual car... ), an Islamic coin (I'll need help with country of issue, year and denomination if anyone can), '44 wheat (first one for the year), and perhaps the best find of the day, a fully intact toy soldier with most of the original paint still on it!!! It was fairly deep (compared to all the other finds at this park today), found at about 4 1/2 to 5 inches. The soldiers helmet looks like the type worn by Doughboys during WWI, so I'm hoping it is from that era (though it may not be that old). If anyone here has experience with dating these old toy soldiers, please feel free to post. Clad totaled $1.71 (3 quarters, 7 dimes, 1 nickel, and 21 cents (19 copper and 2 zinc). Pics below. Enjoy!! Mud and dog poop aside, I certainly did!!

Ditto!! If you learn your new machine as fast as you did the Ace, you should put
down 100 silver for your 2011 goal Paul.
