ROAD SIDE FIND TODAY

After work while driving home i noticed something that looked like an antler off the side of the road.So i made a couple of u turns to get to the spot where it might be and this is what i found. First antler i've ever seen off the road.

During my last three hunts in the woods, I've been following deer tracks, looking for
scraped-up trees, and haven't found ONE shed yet. But, I did find a few Wheaties

If you find one that's "fresh", do you have to let it sit and dry out for some time before using it to make things like knife handles or fake scrimshaw or buttons or whatever?

You can cut it, slice it and dice it the day he drops it. My cousin actually makes knife handles out of them. When they drop them, they are as hard and dense as they're going to get. Hope this helps bud
