She's damaged goods but still nice

Got out for a bit with Mark today to a spot we've both hit several times before and have had some good luck in. Now it's just the hard to get signals that are left. After we had been there a while, WC comes over and asks if I have any water - and not the drinkin' kind. That's not a good sign! He wanted to rinse off a really sharp oldie!

The pressure is on now. After about 2 1/2 hours of junk signals later, I'm getting ready to call it quits when I walked over to where some old trees had been taken out and got a shallow signal in a batch of wood chips. About one inch down was this beauty of a Barber dime. Too bad it didn't quite make it through the stump grinder unscathed.

To bad the stump grinder got that beauty. Good work when the signals aren't chimming in.

Wow, that Barber IS sharp (sans the damage by the stump grinder).

I don't know how I could have missed that "mulched" stump pile,
I'm going to have to pay closer attention to those next time :P

    Anyway, that's a great find

Any time you can see LIBERTY in the headband, it's a pretty nice Barber. Wish I'd been lucky enough to check your chip pile! I don't mind the dinks at all.
