1910 was a good year
Today Neil & I hit a local grove that's been literally pounded to death in recent years so
I put on the smaller 6x10 coil hoping to squeeze some clad that may have been missed
by others in the past.
About 45-minutes into the hunt, I ended up near some huge pines in the middle of the grove
and got a bouncy, iron/silver signal. After digging 4 or 5-inches, I pulled 3 nails out of the hole
I just dug and after re-scanning, I got a solid dime signal under a large tree root. 5-minutes later,
I was the proud owner of a 1910-D Barber Dime in great condition.
The only other coin I found was a 1910 Wheat. . . on the way back to the car.
Thanks for looking!

No sidewalks? No problem!
Re: 1910 was a good year
Yeah baby - that's what you're talking about!
I wish I was talking about finding barbers too...
soon - maybe the full moon will draw them towards the surface!
Congratz on the scratch free recovery - sometimes when going into the root zone it gets dangerous.

Re: 1910 was a good year
Wow, 101 years in the dirt and still has the mint luster. Silver is a beautiful thing, isn't it?
