ARRGH!!! Not again!!
Yep, you guessed it folks. I missed a key date coin by one year YET AGAIN (you guys will remember the '17d merc I dug on the 19th)!! This is getting ridiculous...all in all, it was a nice day to be out and about diggin' stuff . Totals for today: '31 buff (my 3rd; date is barely readable; needs some nic-a-date in a bad way); 2 wheats ('10 (my oldest wheat dug to date), '35); old shotgun shell (UMC Co. new club no. 12); unfired small caliber round (.22 maybe?); small lion shaped cookie cutter; hair clip, butter knife, and fork or spoon handle (probably from the '20s-'30s time frame); and toy car no 5,000,000 . Clad totaled $0.78 (2 quarters (one of 'em a really nice signal @ 6"; thought I had silver; turned out to be a '65 ), one dime, and 18 cents (9 copper and 9 zinc)). I'm finding the E-Trac to be easier to use for woods hunting. With the exception of a couple of wheats, park hunting w/ it has been pretty unsuccessful . Pics below. Enjoy!! Only 9 more days until my vacation starts!! YAY!! PS- I was gonna buy a lottery ticket on the way home, but decided against it, 'cause I'd probably be one number short of the jackpot anyway... Does anyone know where I can get nic-a-date and a cheap (but still good quality) loupe?

Re: ARRGH!!! Not again!!
You can have my nic-a-date next time I see you. I don't use it anymore since I don't like the results. It will make my wife VERY happy that I give it away. (all the crap that I've got)
Jewelers loupes are best.
COngrats on a great hunt.

You're doing better than me Paul. I can't remember the last time I dug a Buffalo.
Keep at it!

Get used to it. Wait till you dig a 1916 only to find it doesn't have a mint mark. Now that gets you heart pumpin only to leave you with a big ARRRGH!!
