went detecting with dfw this afternoon at one of his spots, it was slow going at first for me too, iron and hot rocks galore. so i put the mxt in relic mode and decided to only dig the beeps and ignore the grunts. glad to say i got a nice beep, switched back to c&j to see a solid 25 cent signal, 4" down i recovered a 1850 large cent, a little while later i dug a toasted indian. thanks again rich for sharing your spots with me, mark.
