Re: never under estimate the power of soup[ie]

Thanks Scrounger, but it is I who is thankful, for with out you all, there would have been no hunt...

As to the last shiny,I think the neighbors probably heard my war hoop from down the road, although it was one of the rules that there be no over-celebration on finds,I just couldnt help myself.....
As excited as I was for my coin,I enjoyed seeing Gimme find his first and second silver coins ever more than anything else during the hunt...and to be a barber quarter,outstanding....everything else was just icing on the cake....

I do wish we all would have found buckets full of treasure, but as was mentioned it can be humbling in the presence of great hunters,I still have no complaints on my finds and am happy to have found what I did,I recall many a days hunt with nothing to show but a pouch full of canslaw and nails in the past,So anyday with a keeper is a success, even on my worst days I still had fun through it all,and to me,that is the true treasure of this hobby...

Thanks again for the kind words Scrounger....till then...Have fun out there Folks...
