Nice deer skull with antlers Tim. Found 2 last month and
the antlers were nawed down to nubbins.

Yeah Tony In SC id'ed it as a clamp for table mounting grinders or tooling with. Gotta go with that as it makes sense, being fairly in the middle of the nail bed where the house stood.

It's a real treat to find one of those original homesites because there is no plumbing, no wiring or lighting fixtures, metal window fittings. Just nails and relics. And a few very old very nice coins...

Might actually try to carry that rack out today. Left it hanging in another tree and fairly sure no one else will have found it wayyyy back there.

Unless it was L4S and D-Dub in that little helicopter that did those fly overs....
