Two finds for the day - Nothing great, but I'm happy with them
Got out for a bit today to hunt with Lowbatts, Mayo, Watercolor, and Skates. Got there late and missed Mark's forced march. Swinging on the way to catch up to them, I picked up an Indian near a trail.

Then in the middle of the woods, a nice quarter signal that actually turned out to be a quarter.

I guess I'll stay here a while... I picked up about eight more wheats and met one of the locals. When I got down to dig one of the wheats, this little guy jumped out of the grass right where I was digging. Nice camo job!

The George was a 1942 S, which had it been in EF-40 would have been worth $9. Looks like it's shy of F-12.

All in all, it was a good day with a couple of nice finds. I did manage to meet up with the guys on their return trip, but after another half hour, I was beat and went home to fix the garage door opener. Got that done too, so it was a productive day!
Thanks for checking out my post and HH!
God bless our veterans! Thank you for your sacrifices!

Shinie! Yeah!
Crossing the fence a turkey vulture flew the coup right overhead on the roof of the dive shack. That was a rude critter surprise!

Nice detail on those Neil!
Even if it were in toasted condition, the George is worth $7.81 today.

I wish I was there watching the look on your face when that happened!!! I noticed the door to the shack was closed today. he must have wanted privacy...

Nice pair you got there. I'm surprised more of those washingtons don't come out more often. Licking frogs is good luck I've heard.

I'd be happy with those too/two. Last year I dug up a frog late in the season. He came out of the hole with the plug! Glad I didn't gouge him with the shovel.
