Ticks don't Like me.
They get Addicted to Nicotine & Caffine when they Bite.
Actually been trying Citronela the last couple times out.
Gnats are getting out of control with all the Rain
turning PA Into Swamp Land this year.
(We're the New Bayou)
Not sure if Citronela is as good a Deet
for ticks, but it smells better.
discriminate out Spike TV and American Diggers !

Nice job on those quarters Tim . . . Neil called me that night and suggested
I look for ticks. . . yep, and there were two of them hiding in the shirt and I "dispatched" them
in quick manner

Re: Tick time!
Had two f@#*$^s on me today. Had one on my neck that must've been on me for at least 6 hours. So full, i just brushed him off my neck and he went down. The other one was headed to a no-no spot. Glad I got to him before he got to my "jewels"

No sidewalks? No problem!
Re: Tick time!
After I read this post the day it was posted, for a short time I thought - I guess I was lucky because I didn't get any ticks on me. So later that evening I settled in for some TV with a bowl of popcorn and a beer and after I finished the popcorn all of a sudden I see one crawling on my T-shirt!
OH CR*P! I jump off the couch and flick my shirt so that the tick falls into the now empty bowl - Oh GROSS! and my kid gets all freaked out "What's wrong! what's wrong?"
Hey Saamantha have you ever seen a tick?
"NO and I DON'T WANT TO - keep that AWAY FROM ME"

I took it over to the sink and managed to squash it with the end of a kitchen utensil.
Man those suckers are hard shelled! I guess it hadn't got to me yet since there was no blood in it.
This was my first and hopefully LAST experience with a tick.
I worked with someone who almost died because he had lyme disease and the doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong with him. Months and months went by and he kept getting worse, in & out of hospitals, liver problems, pains in his joints, brain fogginess, weakness, etc etc.

Re: Tick time!
The ticks are already thick this year in West Virginia.
Just because it did not work does not mean it was not a good plan!

Re: Tick time!
Hey Mayo them big ones you see don't carry Lyme's, it's the tiny-smaller-than a pin head size you pretty much won't notice until they're done with you type that carry that bug.

Re: Tick time!
I hate ticks! Haven't found any but have spent all week fighting a kidney stone! Must have broke it free when we were doing the sidewalk hunts!
