Didn't get raptured, but did do some looting!

Went hunting with my dad tonight at a local park (not the honey hole). Now this place has been pounded pretty hard over the years, and it took at least an hour or more before I got my first silver. The second one was luckily 50 feet away from the first.

Didn't get raptured.

Well you getting 2 silver and me getting only a half rotted zinc felt
like rapture anyway.
That, is one tough park... remind me never to go back there again.

That is a big event these days. My son and I was out a month ago and he had a 5 silver day including a 1900 Barber dime with a full liberty on the head band. I've found more then him since but it's all been one at a time, including a 1962 Rosie in a Tot Lot. Take um where I can find um. Rick

I'm not sure about the rapture thing but I will tell you this. I'm glad you found the silver dimes (they're getting much harder to come by) and I hope you find many more. When I stop enjoying the hunt and the finding, that's when I'll retire from doing this hobby. Rick
