    Missed a few...

Been getting a lot of whatzits and clad out of the street work so far, oldies other than wheaties have been way too sparse. Hopefully I'll hit a hotspot one of these parkways...

Took a lunch break and hit the woods today for a bit, had to feed the skeeters, they're baaaack...

At first I thought I'd stumbled onto the breeding grounds for those pesky Shell Presidential game tokens. But a few yards out I found out it was just another shooting gallery. Well they missed a few. These were out in the woods in a small clearing about 3" deep each.

Reminds me of my token woods dig. You know after the first couple dug
that the next is going to be the same thing again and again. But you can't stop digging 'em. Too bad they weren't all Annie tokens Tim.
Pretty cool though,, you almost got the whole set.

Right up there in the one or two digits that separate nominal clad and silver dime indicators on my machine. Drives one crazy. This one anyhow.

Hey! I may have beat the nudie token total for one spot?!?

While you have found an IMPRESSIVE amount of presidential tokens there ;-) I don't think you achieved the MOST-TOKENS-IN-ONE-SPOT award. My dad will have to comment on his highest in one spot, but I remember something past 20. When 20+ tokens fall out of your pocket and you don't notice... something just short of getting raptured is happening to you ;-)

Really doesn't take a lot of time. Used to use .22 casings at 50 feet while practicing for competition. A little hard because the backstop we put the casings on was in full shade. Fun though.

Out of the 173 tokens found at the "Nudie Token Woods", my best plug unveiled 20. It's been a couple years since I've been there, but now for some strange reason, I want to go back.

I bow before the Lord of the Tokens! Stopped hitting several of the annual carnie stops because they were using the "No Cash Value" tokens. Middle of a hot Monday morn in full sun and trying to pop all those worthless things out of the grass.

But for near-200 nudies, geez, that's medication time!
