Rechargeable batteries for E-Trac

I am so happy I finally got my E-Trac from Woodland Detectors and can't use it for rain. Was wondering what you guys use that works good for rechargeable AA batteries and charger?

I installed the exchange software ............what programs do I need to start out and where do I find them or are the stock programs fine for now?

Thanks..........I am sure I will have a ton of questions as soon as I get to turn it on over some soil.

I have tried some AA recharge ables but they don't work in the etrac. Duracells didn't. Pure energy didn't, and energizer recharge able didn't.
So I just use the rechargeable pack and for backups I just go to the Dollar store and buy there 8 pk for a buck. Find a dollar in clad and the rest like silver and old coins are free.

Bought a 12pk at the Dollar store for $1.09 got 3 silver dimes, 2 silver quarters, 2 Indian Heads and over $8.00 in clad.
$1.09 that was well spent.
