E-Trac breaks another record!!
Hi everyone!! Took today off since it was so nice out. Headed out to a favorite spot of mine that I haven't had the time to hit in over a week. Got a call from DP Bob and he joined me for about an hour of hunting. I broke my all time one day record for wheats today!! YAY!! I have also now doubled last years silver coin total already!!
Totals for today: 2 silvers (both mercs) '40s, '41; a whopping 18 wheats!! '19s, '26, '36, '36s, '41, '42, '45, '46, '49, '51, '52d, '54d, '55d, '56d, '57d(x3), '58d; a small junk ring; and an oddly shaped fired bullet (anyone ever seen one shaped like this before?? ). Clad totaled $6.83 (21 quarters, 10 dimes, 3 nickels, and 43 cents (40 copper and 3 zinc)).
I still can't believe I dug 18 wheaties today!! WOW!! Now to shatter my one day silver record (still stuck on 4... )...I have only had the E-Trac for 3 1/2 months now, and it has performed SUPERBLY on nearly every hunt so far (finding 35 silver coins in only 3 1/2 months is awesome!! ). E-Trac has found me silver on 21 of 47 outings so far (includes both silver coins AND silver jewelry items)....not too shabby, no?
Anyway, pics are below. ENJOY!!

Congratulations Paul on getting some more silver out of that spot and finding all those wheaties.
I am pretty sure that bullet is the design that is typically used for competition target shooting. It is shaped like that in order to punch a clean hole through the target.

Great job Paul! Glad to see all those nice finds. Keep it up bud! Your record of 4 silvers in a day is awesome. Mine is 2 and I can't wait to beat it either!
HH!
