On Saturday, it was 18. Today, it was 17 ('26, '30d, '40, '41, '41d, '44, '44s, '45, '48d, '51d, '52d, '54d(x2), '55d(x2), '58d(x2)). That's a whopping 35 wheaties in only two outings!! :o Methinks there was some cherry pickin' for silver goin' on in certain sections of this spot back in the '70s and '80s. No other way to explain the surplus of wheaties and lack of silver.

Sadly, no silver today :(

Also dug a Mexico 5 Centavos coin (1964), and a Goetz phone token (anyone know how old it might be?).

Clad totaled $5.24 today (15 quarters, 9 dimes, 5 nickels (one of 'em was a '59d), and 34 cents (28 copper and 6 zinc)).

Year to date clad total is now up to a whopping $159.29 (as of today).

Pics below. Enjoy!!

ps- too bad I couldn't get as many silvers as wheats....can you imagine digging 35 silver coins in 2 days??? That'll make ANYONE drool...

To get 35 silvers is an awesome thought but could happen, most likely on private property
or an unsearched section of a park. Keep pulling Wheaties and the silver will show up a
little at a time. Congrates on all your recent finds.

Hey Paul - nice haul!

My location I've been at lately has also given up 30-50 wheats and I managed to get 5 silvers out of it so far. A couple of the mercs came up as 1-44 and went to 1-50. According to those numbers it should have been one of those aluminum tree tags. Not sure why it does that but make sure you dig those high tones with the weird signals.
