Hi everyone!! I headed out to a new location Monday afternoon for a few hours. Here's what I found: '37d Washington (silver no. 55, and my oldest Washington ever found to date :) ) and 8 wheats ('36, '39, '44(x2), '44d, '45, '50d, '55d). Clad totaled about $6. Not bad for about 3 1/2-4 hours. All the goodies rang up bouncy/weird/junky. This location may have been hit "back in the day", and the fact that all the goodies rang up like trash might mean they were missed or passed over. Oh well, more for me... ;D . Pics below. Enjoy!! PS- I'm accepting suggestions for locations for the Oct. hunt. Just pm me. Thanks.

If you found a Washerton, I'm sure there's plenty of dimes in there.

Hi Jon. That's the weird part. Given the dates of the wheaties, I was expecting there to be a few mercs. No such luck. This spot is fairly small, and I worked it over pretty good, digging most of the deep targets. I may go back, however. Methinks there's a merc or two still hiding.

If theres a merc hiding in your new spot it doesn't stand a chance to stay in the dirt for long.
