    Digs.....

    Found a second eagle button this week,sure this one pre-dates the last... it dates from the 1850's
    Backmark is "Scovill MFG/Waterbury"
    Did find a few odds and one toasted wheat....

    Hey Jason,

    Most such as this one were made of brass,there were some made with silver plate and even some pewter ones....As far as the signal response...The sound is sweet,as long as you dig some of the odd numbers you wont miss one...We can test one on your etrac then you will know


    Thanks Scrounger....I have been back,but no luck....I have since moved back north a few miles, 80 acres southwest of where you found that LC
