My best silver day to date!

I got my brother in law hooked on detecting about a year ago. I fired the etrac up in his lawn last year and pulled a handful of wheats as well as a merc. he immediately said in a friendly way 'stop im getting my own detector and wanna hunt my lawn' well a year has passed and he has found plenty of silver in his lawn. so today we got permission from his neighbor to hunt his lawn. we had a pretty good day (3 hours worth of hunting). he ended up with two or three mercs (not pictured) as well as a minty '42 walker half (not kidding when i say he was two feet away from me when he was diggin git). I ended up with 5 silver and 22 wheats ('36, '39, '44 mercs & '47, '5x im calling it my 8 cent piece as 20% of it is missing).

    mikes walker half

I have yet to check out my wheats but one was an '09 (back is ugly but ill work with her to see whats there).

my best silver day to date!!

    good luck out there!

yeah yeah,,, thats why i called it my 8-cent piece haha.. poor guy fought a lawn mower and lost... i found a few other 'trinkets' while digging but they are still in my vest pockets in the car (will get them out today and wash them up). I may try to get out there and swing it a bit today and see what we come up with..

I think they must have issued those good luck tokens at some point in the past. Found quite a few over the years.

But hold on! That's not all! Got me one of those soldiers/frontiersman like yours too! Okay, got mine a while ago, but it looks like they got into the same fight.

Man your killing it this week, keep 'em coming Neil!
