North of I-80 - First SLQ
I would have probably stayed in tonight and watched MNF but sitting at 46 silver with a goal of 50 I decided to put on the long johns and get outside. I have hit this place almost all summer so I thought I would pay special attention to one way signals since all the easy stuff had been found. First 10-15 minutes resulted in junk before I got the merc. Hey this technique is working... half hour later dug both of the rings in one hole, yay a jewelry spill! Too bad they were both junk rings. Nearly done for the night and got my first SLQ about 6 inches down with a Jesus pendant about 3 feet away. It is marked sterling and I think there is a date as well but I can't read it.
Anyways... up to 48 now! I can't beleive it.
Thanks for looking and HH! GTL

Wow Jason, I love that SLQ
The only SLQ this year for me was a "no-date" I found in the yard of a 1960's house.
