Guess my next two silver and win a prize! We have a winner!
Hey guys BOB gave me an idea that seems like it would be fun. I am two silver coins away from hitting my goal of 50 on the year. I am pretty excited and wanted to make it more fun by letting you all guess what 49 and 50 will be! If you guess correctly you win a prize!
If you guess #49 you win a 4 pack of limited release 2011 Christmas Ale.
If you guess #50 you win an unreleased vintage bottle of 2009 Pere Jacques.
Rules: You must live in the Chicago area or plan to come pick it up from me or else I will give it to you next time we hunt together or something. If there is a tie I will probably split up the prize or offer something else. Guess on one or the other or both! Oh yeah, you must be 21+.
DPBob got the first guess for #50:
#49
#50 1946 Rosie
I am going out this afternoon so get your guesses in quick!
HH - GTL
P.S. They're in the low spot between those two trees just off the canslaw signal by a hair. Part of a pocket spill with two wheaties and a early Jeff(not a war nickel), so the signal sounds like junk itself. Probably why they're still there, only about 5" down.
Re: Guess my next two silver and win a prize! We have a winner!
Wow what a night! I could feel all 4 of you rooting for me as I dug targer after target!
The hunt went like this... was riding my bike to the spot I wanted to hunt at when I got to an area I wanted to hit all summer but the bums had a camp setup. Looked like they had moved so I stopped to check it out. First 5 targets where wheaties which was a great sign so I locked up the bike and went at it. First silver came in about a half hour and it was the '45 merc! 1 foot over got the '46 Roosie in the same hole with 3 wheaties! About an hour later I got a strange nickel signal and it was the '25 buffalo and '44 Jefferson about in inch away from each other.
It looks like we have a winner! Casino Raider Bob!!! I actually can't believe it man, you won both 49 and 50!!! You win both prizes!
Also got the button with the lions on it. Anyone seen a button like it before?
Batts - you guessed a pocket spill but also said "not a war nickel" AND what is a '46 merc
