New year + new spot = first silver!!

Hi everyone. I FINALLY got out today after a CRAZY holiday season that had me working so much I barely had time to sleep!! I decided to take advantage of the great weather we're having, and took today AND tomorrow off specifically to do some detecting. Got to check out a couple of new spots today after a few errands. Started slowly, but finished strong. Got a '42 merc. Also found 6 wheaties ('20s-'50s; not pictured), and about $5 in clad (also not pictured). I have several more new spots still to try. I sure am glad I got #1 out of the way early. One down, 99 to go (I'm setting my 2012 silver coin goal at 100). Pics below. Get out while you can!! How often can we go dirt fishin' in JANUARY
