It may be easy to become complacent since it is winter... I don't use deet this time of year for example, but fortunately I do still duct tape my pantlegs/socks (keeps the buggers out and the socks free of burrs).

When I got home today I had a deer tick crawling up my shirt. Even though it may be sort of sub 45 degrees, they are active so take precaution.

That tick was my best find today. I got 3 wheats and 1 religious pendant that had lost its plating.

I found those little critters back on the warm spell back in Jan and heading up north to avoid them this week.
