    Large cent 1 silver 0 "1828"

Hunted yesterday at a field site I've been having good luck at.
Found an 1848 L.C. last year and Marinedad pulled an 1850 from here.
The field was still muddy and very difficult to MD so I worked the
ditch up to the edge of the field. Found the unreadable date L.C. and 2 wheaties 17 & 20.
This L.C. isn't the young head type so it must date before 1836.

Great Find -- I'd take that over any 1900's silver except perhaps a dollar. You have a Matron head, so 1816-1839. Hate that when you can't get a date off of those.
