These are some finds from my last couple short hunts. I've found some old homesites located on old maps, but produced very little. The silver continues to elude me, I'm officially in a silver slump. Hope my next hunt will be a little more productive in that area? HH everyone.

Re: Homesite hunt
I do like the trade token The thimble looks like it may be silver. That's better than I've done at old homesites that I've found around here. There may be a silver or two around the corner for you and perhaps it may be a pretty good one. Good luck!
As a fellow long gone homesite hunter I can attest to the long wait one must sometimes endure for surfacing silver...many a trip I have made with little to show for the efforts put forth...
Rest assured though as others may bask in large numbers of silver finds,I remain content in the age of the few I do recover....No pile of mercs or barbers would I trade for the Capped Bust dime, Louis Philippe I 5 franc or the many relics I recovered last year at these sites....
It can be long stretches between the shiny's but you can take solace in the fact that when they do surface they are more than not...worth the effort and wait...

Well said. Exactly how I feel. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
