Bob, I'm kind of new to this and shy. I'd like to hide my thingies for myself whenever possible.
Dennis, all your posts are great, please keep them coming!
Paul (Clad the Group Hunt Bailer) made it out this way the other day, we hit the local park, I got this stuff, silver (rosie), glass(pumkinseed flask), gold(namepin) an early wheatie (19 umpteen something) and '42 cannuck cent. There were two others in the park, an old timer from points west and a newbie from points east. Didn't get their tallies but pull tabs were high among them as they were for all of us.

Is that better?

Hi Bob. I can't speak for everyone, but I'm out of action for a while after re-injuring my right ankle Sun. night @ work. It's a bad sprain, so I'll likely be stuck @ home (no detecting) for a few weeks. Bummer, I know.....

Hi Dennis. I talked to Ron Shore at Windy City about that last Friday (I had to stop in to buy a new Lesche since mine cracked in half due to digging in hard ground). He said that progress is being made, but that there won't be anything definite until next year. Keep in mind that the Cook Co. board only meets once a month, so progress with this issue will be slow.

Hi folks,
I joined just recently and was pleased to find out there was an Illinois part of the site. Should I post my hunting finds here or in the "Todays Finds" area? If I post them here will other people still see them that aren't in this Illinois section?

Im just waiting to see about CCFP's, parks don't really do it for me all that much and im not to keen on sidewalk tearouts or knocking on doors. I dunno something about walking thru the woods enjoying the nature and stumbling across a random spot with coins & relics gets my blood pumping.
