I think it was about 5-6 inches deep. we're not sure fred if it's a vehicle tag or a bicycle tag. maybe the motor vehicle dept. issued bicycle tags too, don't know.

Motorcycle tag... Before the term was used.. Just found a 1915 a few weeks ago down this page a ways.... SWEET !!!

Left coast is great, getting some silver but nothing earlier than 1940. Love watching the IL digs!
