Hi everyone!! Well, it's been a long, cold, and CRAPTACULAR winter here in Chi-town. I finally got out for the first time on Thurs. Hit a well pounded spot, and it showed. 6 hrs of hard hunting netted me only 3 wheats, an aluminum fair token, and about $7 or so in clad.

Friday rolls around, I'm free in the afternoon, and REALLY bored. Since it's nice outside, I decide to head out to a new spot I've had my eye on. 3 hrs got me a '44 merc, 2 wheats, and about $3 in clad. Silver on my 2nd outing. YAY!! Here's to hoping 2014 will be a great year!! Pics of the merc below.

I hope it warms up soon!!
