Damn! That IH is awesome! I sure miss my Home town in Illinois. So many GREAT areas to hunt. Familiarity makes hunts easier. Great finds!

Yeah I been out only a couple times this year.. Father in law death and mother in law in nurseing home.. Played some with the fors core and I was surprised with it.. Found a spot in the easment about 2 square feet and pulled 17 wheats form 1919-38.. Also a 1918 and 1944 merc at a measured 8".. My son and i hit the park and he was doing well a dateles buffalo and then a great tone with no VDI.. He asked me what I thought and I said only "dig it".. At 9.5 -10 inches " the full leanght of my pinpointer was a 20 wheat and 1905 V.. Starting to like this machine.. Maybe things will calm down here and I'll get out..

You gotta ask yourself why this Forum is dead? Most true hobbyist here in Cook County know why! Where's TreasureFiend and the gang?
Oh, those are the guys who got the Woods hunting closed down. Everybody thought these Newbies were great with all their Vids.
Thanks you Morons... These guys were no ASSET to our Hobby!!! Good Riddance of that bunch of wanna-be's...

I hunted a lot with them and in the woods. So your calling me a moron too. That had nothing to do with the shutting it down. YOU NEVER COULD " DIG " in the forest preserves.. I knew that and so did everyone else. I was breaking the law just as much as you were if you hunting in them..... and as far as them being an ASSET. They ARE...... Take the ET off the asset Silverseeker2 and that is what you are... Silverseeker2 you live right by DUPAGE CO forest preserves why don't you go hunt them......OH wait they couldn't be hunted long before they the CCFP redefined their wording.....I wonder why you don't Bi***h and blame people for that.......

Hey Bob, How's the Knee? These tokens found a few years back in the same spot - the green one was from the evening before, not sure the pics will show. I lost most all of my past pics on an old puter..

I think this thread has gone bitter people need to place blame so that they feel better about themselves . The blame if any should be placed on the tv shows and every person with a 39.95 metal detector thinking a huge pot of gold is at the bottom of every hole.

Most everything has been found this Year except a couple dimes and the Gold cufflink and a wheatback.
Anyone in my area wants to give it a go let me know.
