I am located in Orland Park and am retired. I am looking for someone to detect with. I haven't detected in a couple years and am sure I am very rusty. Anyone interested, leave a message or message me and I can give you my email. I don't know many areas around my home but don't have a problem traveling an hour or two if you have a place to go.

Hello I am also in the Chicago burbs, interested in any potential hot spots to find flakes of gold. I have panned a few small creeks, but never found gold in this state. Any suggestions?

Retired and moving back into my child hood home here in Chicago Heights close to Orland Park, from Wisconsin.
I do land hunt with my Xterra 705, beach and shallow water with my Excalibur 1000 old blue. Still looking for my charger that got packed away.
Purchased a Kayak last fall to expand my search capacity and stay healthy. Indian portages have been used for 100's of years.
