Hi : I posted this link in another spot on here but, thought some Illinois Folks Might like to see this Link, it's a site that shows Some pics of Civil war Battleships that sailed the Mississippi, Just looking at these pics & thinking of How things must have been back in that time period will raise the hair on the back of a persons neck. imagine seeing one of these ships comming around a turn in the River, that would have been a really scary thing to see back in those days, This link also has other links on it's page, anyways ,I found it interesting,
