    Cleaningup the clad field!!!

Well this weekend I went back to the old carnival spot and so far after 4 trips there I pulledout 152 coins:

    87 quarters
    20 dimes
    2 nickels
    43 pennies

for a grand total of $24.28 in clad

I would of got more, but it was too damn hot this weekend. Oh well that just leaves more for next time!!! Just last week I passed the $40 mark, now I'm past the $65 mark!!!

I hate digging clad, but with those numbers, it's hard to resist! Got an even 40 quarters this morning at a carnie cleanup and a schoolyard. pile of dimes, nickels and one-eyed Lincolns as well. Didn't dig for any of them. Had the company of a few snaggle-toothed carnies to boot!

Nice clad count buddy! I don't think I am a clad hunter, too lazy! I look for the deep signals and hope to dig one or two oldies or perhaps the Explorer just spoiled me

LOL @ "snaggle-toothed carnies". There are two things I can't stand in this world. Carnies, and juggalos. They should all be sterilized for obvious reasons. The worst ones are the juggalo carnies. Talk about a waste of oxygen.

Hey Joe, judging by the Cepacol bottles laying about under the rides, those carnies aren't using nearly as much oxygen as they are crack and meth.

Well today I'm going to try my luck at the Clad Field. I am currently at $68.94, I want to get to $75 before the weekend, and $100 by the end of the month. The later might be alittle out of my reach, but I will try...

Hey TF try this, notch out the zinc cents, and dig the gold range targets instead. Yeah that's foil, but one gold item can vastly outvalue all those cents you've dug. Even if you don't dig the junk/gold range targets, notching out the cents gives you more nickel/dime/quarter time.

Well I got there at 5pm, and my spot was being used by some people playing softball, so I just swept around the totlot and I got $2.30 and a 1931 wheatie. Within an hour 5 more softball games started up, so I went home. It has to be some kind of league, because it was all adults playing, I would say they were all between 21-50 years old and they were all drinking beer and BBQ'ng. I have to admit, it looked like fun.

    Sounds like waffling to me.

We all have our stations in life. Theirs is to drop things, yours is to say,
    "Finders keepers, losers thank you."
and recover those things. Now go to it Man and remember your motto.

    DROP AND DIG ME 20!
