Well, we made it to the secretive location, but I still have no idea where we were at as I was made to wear a blind fold for the 1 hour drive.

This place looked very promising and with a date on 1 building of 1930 and a date on another of 1950 I was sure the silver would be jumping out of the ground and into our pouches. Sad to say, that did not happen at all. There were some functions going on at the one area of this property so we weren't able to get to the older sites, but will do so next time.

I pulled 4 Wheaties, a broken pocket watch (missing face and back plate), and a bunch of clad. Greg pulled a few Wheaties as well as the common clad also.

Sorry, no photo's since we all no what clad and wheaties look like. We had a good , hot, miserable day of digging, but it was fun just the same.

Hope everyone else was able to pull some goodies.

The old lincoln Highway would be old U.S.33 from fort wayne through ligonier and goshen to elkhart and southbend. it turns into Lincolnway east and west,But there's a park in Ligonier that used to be a rest stop back in early 1900's.

I think I know where the rest stop is, but I haven't been that way in a long, long time.
