Just putting the word out that a few of us are going to be at Studebaker Park at 8am on Sept. 20th. Big enough space to accomodate more than the 3 of us. If you can make it great, if not maybe some other time.

Hope you all have a great hunt there I'm watching from the side line for now got an infection in my finger from a thorn bush. Helping the wife pull some branches from behind the barn, well its gone now didn't think something so small could do that but it got me right in the knuckle. Happy hunting.

Well, I'm not going to hold it against anybody that didnt show Sunday being it was a last minute invite. It was just xGregx and myself and the finds were pretty slim and the ground was quite hard in spots. Once we got in under the trees the ground was quite a bit easier to dig, but the skeeters yelled smorgasboard. I think I swung my free hand more than I did my detector

The best stuff I've found lately is (3) 5FILS from Bahrain, 1970. Not in the same hole but they were all within 1' of each other.

So I guess I'm sayin that I need to get out to some old sites...Pronto!

Sorry you missed out on the blood sucking fest, but you didn't miss anything at all.

I am having withdrawls on digging the old stuff and need to get my fix. Hopefully Greg and I will get to Area Dirty-1 this coming weekend and ebb my withdrawls.
