New metal Detector!

Hi all, Hope everyone is able to fight off the Winter Blues, I've been able to with researching what metal detector to get this spring. Decided that the Garret 350A is a little ancient and want to upgrade, should have around $500 - $600 come march, but with all the different brands not sure which I should get. Can anyone give me some insight on which is a good coinshooter for that price.

if you're looking for a good coin shooter, the Ace 250 is a good machine
a step up would be the Fisher F5 or the White's M6

I would look at a new or used Minelab 705 or Safari (the safari can use all the coils an etrac and se can use).

Tesoro,you cant beat the LIFETIME WARRANTY,and with the vaquero its a good all around detector ...just in case you feel like doing a little of everything!
Yes DJH Im sold on em for sure,I was going to pick up a Deleon this spring for a backup ,but I decided to get the V instead (I need to get away from TID)...the Cortes is still top dawg for me tho (on land) Tiger Shark for the water!

Yeah, I forgot about the Lifetime Warranty the offer. Had the Cortes and just didn't get or feel comfortable with it. The Vaquero is supposed to be a good one, but I think a newbi might do better with a VID starting out.
