Great write up and hope this gives us all a good name.

Someone got their name in the paper. Guess your detector doesn't go to deep if you are only finding stuff on the surface? :tongue3:

Had to give you a hard time, as we all know you are the detecting goddess of Michiana.

You're just saying that 'cause it's true.

You're nominated to get the group hunt organized this time around. :wav:

geesh, ok where do we start????

The Marsh?

Confederate land? Privately owned with full permission?

The old settlement back in 1840? (it's a haul...'bout 2 1/2 hrs south of us)

OR the park mentioned in the newspaper article?

Work with me here:)

Where ever and what ever. You're the newly appointed Hunt Master :laughing7: Is the park mentioned in the newspaper fenced off yet? I figured it probably is being that they are starting construction. If not, that may be a start. Something different and a chance to retrieve goodies before they are covered up and lost forever. Post a group hunt suggestion and see what the consensus is.

Even though I am kinda new to the Indiana board, I would think that the park would be a priority since once its done its done and dusted. I would drive over on a Sunday to hunt with all yall. TMAN...

That was a very interesting article, but we can't do that type of digging in New Jersey. We have too many secrets buried here, as Jimmy Hoffa can tell you :laughing7:

Ok, how 'bout the park on the corner of Western and Chapin streets in South Bend, Sunday at 9?

IF it's fenced off (I'll call and ask) then well, hmm-mm-mm...the Marsh is a lil tricky as I've been able to narrow it down but NOT positive, plus I haven't asked permission....yet.

We could hit a New Carlisle park? I dunno. The camp is in Michigan and not sure if they'd allow a group hunt...so...any back-up ideas, thoughts, locations, times????

As it stands now Sunday is gonna have rain w/ a hi of 78.

yea....that's good news.

I might even tote a shovel and do a lil bottle diggin' myself, that is if I'm not pulling out any silvers, tokens or gold rings:)

No fence as of yesterday. Grass is gettin pretty thick/tall.
Seeing how some of these construction sites are :violent1: they'll more than likely have a fence up this Monday afternoon.

Keep your fingers crossed that they don't move that fast.

Keep us posted and we'll dig.

hey rc..what about that 'other' site you've mentioned? Perhaps that could be a back-up plan....unless everyone wants to bottle dig, and I'm cool with that and have a prime location.

talk to me.
