    How pathetic is this?

My wife and I bought our daughter a digital camera and now she won't let me use it to post my finds on here. So until I can get that camera from her i'll just write about them. Sunday's hunt at the 1920's house netted me 3 wheaties oldest is 1921,also found some kind of token,on the front it has FDR face and on the back it says "Shell's Mr President coin Game". On the front to the left of FDR says 1933 and to the right it says 1945. HH

You know what they say about kids don't you?

You bring'em into this world, you can take 'em out of this world

Token was a Shell Oil promotional game. If memory serves correctly, there was a collectors book that you would fill with the tokens. There were also vintage car tokens from Sunoco, I think and one of the afroe mentioned gas stations had a Hotwheels one as well.

Maybe you can have your daughter take the pics. since it's her camera.

Great finds on the coins. That's 3 more Wheats than I've found since changing detectors.

Drop a bill in the mail charging for rent, utilities, food etc. Won't she be surprised when she opens it?

I looked it up and it says shell started that in 1968,also looked on ebay they're going for about 3 bucks.I've only done about 1/2 the yard so hopefully i'll start finding some silver, that 1921 wheat's a good sign that there is old coins in the ground.

Greg and I went to Areadirty1 yesterday, and I didn't even find 1 stinkin' Zincoln. You know that place holds the oldies.

    FWIW
I didn't have a detector tantrum either. It made it home in 1 piece.

Hit my favorite beach the other day, the 6 to 8 ft deep zone via scuba gear & the excal, thinking it would be a virgin gold mine.... one clad quarter and a piece of scrap aluminum Was fun though, the looks you get when heading up on the beach wearin all the gear, dtector, etc, are a trip!

Smasher, sounds like the new detector is workin for ya, good deal.
