Sweet lock, and do you have a better shot of the plate or what does it say? Looks like a railroad stamp? :icon_scratch:
And strange that the driving band is gone from that shell like that.

It was about an 80lb cast iron sign. Made in 1889. It reads " these are the grounds and property of the ccc&st.l. ry co not a public thoroughfare all persons are forbidden to trespass thereon. "

Where did u find ur lock? Mine has a partial pat.# on it haven't been able to come up with any real info on it.

That piece of ordinance next to the green beans is not live- I hope.

I hopes its live n highly unstable. Some one came in my house and stole it. I hope it blasts em all the way to kingdom come.
