I guess I don't know much about gold, how its created and where its located. Didn't even know Indiana had gold.

We have glacial gold carried by the glaciers here, I think you do way better where there's bedrock close to the surface in places like Brown, Morgan, and other counties about where the glaciers stopped as once they hit cracks in bedrock they will be concentrated in those area's.

I'll probably detect till its warm enough to get wet without freezing, then do some sluicing a little south where there's some bedrock. You might be able to find some in creeks up your way, I like to be in places where the bedrock isn't too far down as once the gold hits the bedrock it concentrates and stays in place.

There is a gold mining club near COLUMBUS INDIANA that goes out on weekend per month, but since all the monsoons last few weeks the hunting area is probably submerged.
It is in GATESVILE INDIAnA, they hunt in SALT CREEK

I'm selling my trommel if any Hoosier Prospectors are interested.
It's a proven gold getter and best of all NO classifying needed.

We are selling our house to get a motor home and go RV'ing full time. The trommel and my other large gear must be sold due to limited storage space in the RV.

Pm me for my phone number and further details, also ask about other equipment for sale.
