Circuses...gotta love them! I had remembered where I attended one in Roselle IL in 1960 or 1961...and thank goodness I did. Daughter and I pulled, literally, pounds of silver and wheats from there. 😁

I've never been to a Circus.

As a Kid, Because I live on a Mountain with very steep Roads, all My life,
The circus had to Unload their elephants at the Bottom and walk them to the top.
So i saw when the circus came to to town. they would walk by our house.
I remember my Parents taking us on a drive by the circus site, later that evening .
But that was the closest I ever got to an actual circus Tent. money was not free flowing back then.

I got to attend Freak Shows at the Bloomsburg fair & in Atlantic City a few times.
But that's it. though I only remember William Durks "The Man with Two Noses and Three Eyes"
and a 2 headed cow, that's one head looked like it was Dead, Drooling & sewn on
off hand, I know there were more.

as far as Durks, until reading right now, I never realized his 3rd. eye was painted on.
but his nose did look like someone hit him square in the center of his face with an ax
