Welcome to the site, crazydave. Do you swing a detector? If so, what kind? There a quite a few detectorists from Iowa on here. We're scattered all over the state, but some of us do get together from time to time.

Yep I've been half ass detecting for years, would like to get serious about it soon, I have a couple of cheap detectors and a pretty nice white I bought 2 years ago(used 5 times!!) I also have some places I would like to try, have some great info on caches
