Fisher 1266x battery box

I have a1266x. When I bought it the battery terminals were corroded. I need to know to install new terminals . There are 2 compartments , one for each battery pack. I am not sure which wire goes were. Their is 1 red, 1 black and one white. Thanks

the smaller terminal is the positive...

You will not harm the detector if installed incorrectly.
Try it.

I had the same issue with mine (the terminals broke off deep inside the box.
It took me a few years to get it done but Me & my Dad rewired it , with help from radio shaq .

It air tested great, but it;s been almost a year since the fix & I have not tried it in the field yet.

Can't recall the wiring situation , but where the 1 AA Pack connected down in the box now has longer wire's ,where the connection is now near the outside on the battery pack.
