    Fisher 1280 and handheld Mark 3

    First, I have a 1280-X from Fisher and it has found tons of iron, brass, bronze and silver artifacts. Literally. Great underwater unit, never failed me. Love it.

    I just bought a Fishers Mark 3 handheld, does anyone have an opinion of this unit?

    Im a newbie and I saw one for around $70 used of course...is this a good buy? Ccan I use it on land as well or is it strictly for underwater use? I Would really appreciate you opinion. Thanks
