1280-X Aquanaut, anyone ever use this one?

Has anyone out there use this detector? Fisher 1280-X Aquanaut. I like the price, hate the fact of not having a pin pointer. How does it compare to the Fisher CZ-21? Thanks for any and all input.

SWR is correct, these are two different companies.

The 1280 is a preset ground balance and not automatic as some misleading advertisements say. It can become unstable in saltwater shallows where the black sand and saltwater are in higher concentrations an backing off the sens helps a lot. The 1280 makes one tone while the CZ21 has three in disc mode and an Auto Tune which is all metal. The CZ21 has a pinpoint button which I never use in beach or wading as it isn't needed. Pull the coil away and slide it forward till you hear the sound and the object is just off the tip. 1280 is less costly since it has less features.
