It doesn't oxidize but it does get dirty, especially on the insides of rings to the point of discoloration until cleaned. The pic is hard to see good. I can make out the 14 with no K which is very unusual but not unheard of. I can't make out the makers stamp. What does the piece actually look like as a whole?
