Gold nugget in S/E KS.

I dont know of anyone ever finding a gold nugget in SE KS. I figure its a heck of a lot easier to find silver coins and gold rings....

Hi rebelLT, Thanks for the reply. I didn't think there was much of a chance to find a nugget but thought I would ask. Might try it anyway, who knows I may be the first. HH

I researched the presence of gold in Kansas once, and in a word...its almost completly devoid of the yellow stuff. Extremely fineflour gold has been found in far western Kansas rivers flowing out of Colorado, and some has been found in NE Kansas in ancient gravel beds pushed south by glaciers during the ice age.
