I am very happy to support this cause. I signed as number 399, and hopefully we get alot more support. I don't live in Kentucky, but this kind of foolish crap is an outrage and affects everyone that swings a detector.

There is power in numbers. TNet has over 28,000 members and you need to appeal to as many as you can.

I would change the Title of this post to something like "Our MDing rights are at stake and we need your help!" to get more attention. Also get Jeff to put it as a sticky at the top of the forum.

I did the same thing with Florida's proposed changes and we generated over 900+ email responses to the State. They are now re-writing the proposed changes.

Our club did it the old fashioned way, handwriting to the county parks here in Wayne County, Michigan. Now issue 5 dollar permits good for the whole year. They are laminated and the size of a credit card......NGE

Signed #459... I'm not a MD'er yet but if I don't take a stand on this issue, who is gonna help those of us that like to walk creekbeds and look for arrowheads or fossils...
