KY hunters beware of this bill, the wording could well be the demise
of our hobby,it implies burial sites but includes a lot more, such as private property hunts and objects man made 100 years old and older.
go to the legal section here on Treasure Net, and read the bill and contact your senator.
senator Perry B. Clark emailed me today and said that it is a concern
to detectorist.
although no action was taken by the general assembly on this bill when introduced senator Clark says, that representative Meeks may reintroduce this measure in the next legislative session.i'm of the opinion that it will be.
act now while you can.

Howdy,

Would it be possible to post an url to "read more about it!"?

Thanks,

The bill number this year is HB114

Go to this link. http://www.lrc.ky.gov/record/09RS/HB114.htm

Read the first sentence. That is the important part. Then click on HB114 in the titile line with "R. Meeks". That will take you to the full text of the bill.

Scroll down to section 2 number 1. You will see the clear intention of this bill. Nothing in this portion mentions cemeteries or human remains. It is an assault on private property.
